Terror on the Bayou Halloween Festival will have something for everyone...Carnival games with prizes for all ages; glow sticks and other Halloween products; and concessions. November 11-12, 2011 Trammel’s Trace Rendezvous Pre-1840’s living history camp, demonstrations, tomahawk & knife throwing, period crafters & artisans, buckskinners and Texas History Re-enactors. The Rendezvous will feature a Day of Learning on Friday for educational groups. Friday and Saturday are open to the public. Experience the life during the pre-1840’s. Mountain Men, Trappers and Indians get together on the bank of the Big Cypress Bayou to swap goods, tell stories and celebrate survival of another season. Steam Train Rides, too. November, December 2011 November 24-26, December 1-4, 8-11, 15-18, 22-24 Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve Rail of Lights Christmas Train Make this a Christmas to remember aboard the Rail of Lights Christmas Train in Jefferson, Texas. The unforgettable ride aboard an old-fashioned steam train departs each Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Thanksgiving through December 24. Passengers will enjoy lighted scenes along the Cypress Bayou River as they hear about the “Christmas Traditions Around the Globe”. Join our vocalist in songs familiar to young and old. Click here for more information December 30 & 31, 2011 Rail of Lights New Year’s Train Blast into the New Year aboard the Rail of Lights New Year’s Train in Jefferson, Texas. Passengers will enjoy lighted scenes along the Cypress Bayou River as they hear the tale of New Year's traditions, customs and superstitions. Each of the trains will feature beverages, noisemakers and a simulation of the New Year’s Eve Ball dropping in Times Square followed by a fantastic fireworks show. Click here for more information

Fright Train
The Runaway Fright Train will feature Creatures of the Night. As you ride through the dark woods, you’ll feel the breath of the spirits encircling you. The scenes and haunters along the track will keep you at the edge of your seat and give you a laugh now and then, too. G and PG-13 runs are oriented to specific age groups.

Creepy Screamin’ Corn Maze
For the ultimate Halloween experience, walk through the stalks of the Creepy Screamin’ Corn Maze. More than a dozen haunters in the maze will give you the willies. The Maze is more than an acre and includes a walk through the Piney Woods, through the Haunted Cemetery and culminates with the infamous 100-foot underground Tunnel of Doom. Don’t come alone - you will be spooked by more than Halloween ghosts!
